CNC Machining Cell
I deployed a CNC machining cell with a robot. The cell consisted of an Okuma M460 vertical machining center with a Fanuc robot for handling. I managed the project team and completed all the mechanical engineering design work, including the cell layout and workholding.

CV Joint Process Development
I developed the machining and spline rolling processes for the inboard side of a new constant-velocity joint for Mercedes-Benz SUVs. There were four variants of the part. I determined the forging dimensions, developed the machining specifications, wrote the CNC programs, and led the development trials through the release to full production.
The design of the parts included a groove feature which was not present in any prior parts, and which required bringing in new toolholders and carbide inserts to accomplish. I consulted with multiple tooling suppliers and ran trials to find the right solution.
